Abstract. The integration of CuFeMn-Layered Double Hydroxide (LDH) with graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4), designated as CFM/CN, was identified as a potential strategy to enhance the photogeneration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and improve the photoelectrocatalytic performance within a Bio-Electro-Fenton (BEF) system. The CFM/CN-BEF system is anticipated to broaden the applicable pH range and augment the overall efficiency of the BEF process, thereby facilitating more effective removal of antibiotics from wastewater. This investigation will systematically evaluate the removal efficiency of tetracycline …

Abstract. To investigate the distribution and pollution characteristics of microplastics in China's aquatic environments, this study focused on the Dasha River in Jiaozuo City. Microplastic abundance and morphological features were analyzed using stereomicroscopy, while polymer composition was determined through Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The results showed that microplastic abundance in the Dasha River ranged from 1.05 to 8.5 n/L, with an average concentration of 4.91 n/L. The majority of microplastics, representing 72.9% of the total, had a particle size below 1 mm, Fiber-shaped …

Abstract. With the emergence of self-driving vehicles, the Autonomous Emergency Braking System (AEB) has become a crucial element in preventing traffic collisions. When comes to public trust and road safety, AEB needs to be really reliable and working well. In this paper, a series of testing and evaluation methods are introduced about AEB system using some typical and key scenarios that reflect the real world driving scenario. Do research starting from having the basic structure for all kind of test scenario like CCR (car-to-car rear stationary), CCRm(car-to-car rear moving), CCRb(car-to-car rear …

Abstract. This paper uses the CRITIC-VIKOR method to comprehensively evaluate Jiaozuo City, a typical coal resource depleted city, from four dimensions: environmental, economic, social and resource. By analyzing the relevant data from 2009 to 2023, this paper analyzes the transformation effects of each subsystem, aiming to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the transformation and development of coal resource depleted cities. The results revealed that Jiaozuo achieved its lowest score of 0.36 in 2020, indicating a "relatively good" transformation status (Level IV) and the most effective …

Abstract. This paper compares and analyzes ear-based electroencephalography (Ear-EEG) and scalp-based electroencephalography (Scalp-EEG) in wearable brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to examine how signal fidelity, robustness, and usability are balanced. The study evaluates signal quality (event-related potentials ERP, signal-to-noise ratio SNR), resistance to motion artifacts, comfort, wearability, and practical applicability. The results indicate that, despite moderate signal attenuation (amplitude loss of 21% to 44% compared to optimized Scalp-EEG) and limited spatial coverage (1–6 channels), Ear-EEG …

Abstract.Microplastics, as pollutants that are difficult to biodegrade in the environment, are widely distributed in soil, water bodies, and the atmosphere. They form complex pollution by adsorbing heavy metals and hydrophobic organic pollutants. Photodegradation, as an environmentally friendly degradation method, has attracted much attention. Photodegradation of microplastics includes direct photodegradation and indirect photodegradation. In direct photodegradation, photons directly act on the microplastic substrate, such as PE and PP, which absorb energy in the 270-300nm ultraviolet band, causing …

Abstract. This article reviews the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) models from early statistical approaches to modern large language models (LLMs). Beginning with probability-based n-gram models, it outlines their limitations in data sparsity and long-term dependency. It then introduces neural network-based models, including word embeddings, logistic regression, multi-layer perceptrons, and Word2Vec, followed by sequential models such as RNNs and LSTMs that capture temporal dependencies. The shift to pre-trained models, marked by Word2Vec and the Transformer architecture, enabled …
